Interview Preparation Course

Interviews shouldn’t feel like an interrogation; they’re your chance to tell a clear, confident story about why you and why this course/country. Our Interview Prep course turns that story into a strong, natural conversation—so you’re ready for both university admission interviews and visa/consular interviews.

Who it’s for

Students registered with (or planning to register with) IRS Study Abroad who want practical, no-fluff coaching that improves how they think, structure, and speak—not just memorize answers.

What you’ll master

• Functional grammar & fluency: quick fixes that make your English cleaner and more natural.
• Answer structure: simple frameworks (e.g., STAR and “Past–Present–Future”) to handle any question.
• Confidence on call & in person: voice, pace, tone, pauses, and handling interruptions.
• Body language & grooming: first-impression basics that don’t feel staged.
• Interview etiquette: from handshakes to online meeting manners.
• Consistency with documents: aligning answers with your SOP/SoA, offer letter, funding, and timeline.

Country- & interview-specific coaching

• University interviews (UK/Europe/Canada/Australia): motivation, academic fit, gaps/backlogs, change of stream.
• UK Credibility/Pre-CAS: course choice, university research, finances, ties to home country.
• USA F-1 visa: funding, intent to study, employability, ties, “Why this university/major?”
• Germany: program rationale, language level, career pathway, documents alignment.
(We tailor content to your destination and stage.)

How the course works

1. Diagnostic warm-up: a short speaking task + quick grammar/fluency check.
2. Personal plan: focus areas set (e.g., grammar slips, story clarity, visa-specific questions).
3. Capsule lessons: 10–15 minute micro-modules on grammar, vocabulary, and delivery.
4. Mock interviews: one-to-one + panel style; all recorded so you can review.
5. Actionable feedback: time-stamped notes, upgraded sample answers, and rewrite prompts.
6. Final sprint: stress-round practice, curve-ball questions, and last-mile polish.

Bonus add-ons you get

• Question banks for university & visa interviews (updated regularly).
• Funding & sponsor narrative practice (clear, document-true answers).
• Cultural cues (UK/US/EU/Aus): what reads as confident vs. over-rehearsed.
• Technical set-up for online interviews: background, lighting, mic checks, Zoom/Teams etiquette.
